  • (6) If I had a father, a four-act play, which Dr. Greville MacDonald tells us (u George MacDonald,” p. 319) was made the basis of a novel of some 120,000 words named ” Seekers and finders,” but was never published and is unlikely to be so. Robert Falconer appears in it and Dr. Greville MacDonald quotes from it (pp. 321, 404).

Reviewed in the Athenaeum (April 29, 1882, p. 537), which strongly disliked “ If I had a father.”
